Inside the Backrooms Inside the Backroomsīack in 2019, clever users took an image of a strange yellowed hallway and developed the concept of the Backrooms. It's sucks that I had to go through this huge hassle just to get something basic as my keyboard to work and I'm frustrated with Windows for not recognizing any problem with the system, but I do feel a huge relief after fixing it.25. I missed this option because I reset my PC not in safe mode, but directly via settings. 2 are ones that Windows themself offers, and are tied to the same category on the safe mode menu, and the other one is offered by Asus. After playing on Window's safe mode a little more, it seems I had 3 options of reset. TL DR FOR EDITS: Didn't solve a thing after tons of hassle.Įdit 4 - THE REDEMPTION: I managed to fix it! It seems that the factory reset I went for wasn't actually a factory reset. I don't even know what's real and what not. Doom's Day came and didn't let me know, he just watched me suffer and didn't say a word. My disappointed is immeasurable and my day is ruined. I start being optimistic for some reason. I notice that the laptop's screen is still on after the reset. I take off my bag and start changing my clothes. I enter the house's doorsteps, and after that - my room's. I finish my shift at 12:04 am, and start going home. I don't know if I can handle another failure. The anticipation is lingering my mind - "it has to work" I promise to myself. I left it be for a few hours, until I come back from work. I deleted my all my files and apps, all the settings configurations. I can't pin point what it is and really need the help of others for it.Įdit 3: I surrendered. All that lead to to understand that the keyboard itslef is okay, but something inside the "desktop realm" is not. Thought I might have lacked out the keyboard is now back on board with its keys (xd), but I was wrong. I continued with the resetting process, typed my Wi-Fi password and the other stuff needed, and the update failed, for reason unkown to me as well. The reset proces also requires you to use the keyboard for the process needed for resetting, and low and behold. I got desperate after a while for searching for too long and decided to reset. Now the whole "keyboard" section is gone. Saw someone recommend deleting the drivers from Device Manager's Keyboard. Update to all at the same time.Įdit 2: Welp, played with it a little more and I think it might have gotten even worse. Tried to toggle with the Hardware settings on the Control Panel as well and couldn't find any lead.Įdit: Oh, and also, the were windows and Nvidia's Geforce updates. Tried to remove the drivers for my keyboard and it didn't do nothing. I don't have any ideas for approaching on how to fix it. I think something that might have caused it was following this guide for installing a DualShock controller drivers because it happned directly after I did so. In fact, the keyboard works there completely fine and that makes it even stranger. I tried to check if anything was up in the BIOS, but didn't find any problems there. I can use a secondary keyboard, but that's it. It doesn't matter what I am typing it won't do anything displayed on the Laptop's screen. ![]() ![]() Right now I'm stuck with no keyboard on my G14. ![]()
